The Sweetpea Board of Directors invites community members to apply for open positions and help shape the organization’s future.

Board members help guide Sweetpea through strategic planning, fundraising, community outreach, and organizational development. Serving also provides opportunities to build connections and strengthen leadership skills.

You do not need previous board experience to apply. We simply ask for a commitment to our mission and a willingness to participate.

Board members attend monthly meetings, serve on committees, and provide hands-on support for Sweetpea’s programs, property, events, and rebuilding efforts.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds who want to help our community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit return to service.

We also encourage professionals with experience in finance, marketing, law, fundraising, nonprofit management, animal welfare, and other relevant areas to apply.

Most importantly, we want people who believe in Sweetpea’s mission and want to play an active role in what comes next.
