The Story Continues…
Sweetpea F.O.R. Animals has been part of the Central Massachusetts animal welfare community for many years. After the devastating fire that destroyed our shelter in 2015, our doors closed — but our story didn’t end.
Today, we’re working to rebuild Sweetpea and create a new resource for animals in need. There’s still work to be done, and the support of our community is what will help us get there.

Looking for Help With an Animal?
Please note: Our shelter remains closed as we work toward rebuilding. Because we are not currently operating a shelter, we cannot accept surrendered animals and do not currently have animals available for adoption.
If you need to surrender or rehome an animal, or if you’re looking to adopt, please contact other operating animal shelters and rescue organizations in the region.
We know this may not be the answer you were hoping for, and we look forward to the day when Sweetpea can once again be a resource for animals and the people who love them.
