Sweetpea F.O.R. Animals: Progress and Challenges
Sweetpea F.O.R. Animals is in an important chapter of our comeback. As we work to rebuild, reconnect with our community, and create a future where we can help animals in need.
However, this online challenge has emerged clearly in contrast to our on-the-ground work. We are addressing it while continuing our animal rescue efforts and community engagement. We will share updates and strengthen our online presence to support every rescue plan.
We believe our supporters deserve to know what has been happening – and, more importantly, how they can help.
It isn’t a story about giving attention to the people working against us.
However, it is about ensuring the community that has supported Sweetpea for so many years knows one thing.
We’re still here. And we’re not going anywhere.
However, SOMEONE WANTS SWEETPEA TO DISAPPEAR.
Additionally, we’re asking you to make us impossible to ignore.
We lost our shelter in a devastating fire in 2015. Sweetpea F.O.R. Animals has spent years trying to find its way back.
Now we’re rebuilding.
We’re fundraising. We’re reconnecting with our community.
Moreover, we’re planning for a future where Sweetpea can once again help animals in animal rescue.
Additionally, while we’ve been trying to rebuild, we’ve faced repeated online interference.
The interference involves our Facebook presence and posts.
Content has disappeared.
We are documenting what is happening and taking steps to protect Sweetpea.
We’re not naming anyone.
We’re not starting an internet war.
And we’re definitely not disappearing.
Instead, we’re asking for your help.
