Sweetpea Volunteer Meeting
Volunteer meetings (must be a registered volunteer to attend, for insurance reasons) are held on the first Friday of every month at 7 pm at the Sweetpea shelter. We are seeking volunteers to join us in our animal rescue, fostering, and rehabilitation work - as well as planning events, and having fun with other Sweetpea volunteers! Sweetpea will be heading on out to Country Acres Farm & Pet Center located in Burnt Hills, NY on July 15, 2017 from Noon - 7 p.m. for a Wooftastic day of Animal Rescues, Vendors, Raffles and great Music. Murray Day is the annual boat race and fun day held by Friends of K9 Murray. It takes place this year on August 19th, at St. Stanislaus Church, 144 South St, West Warren, MA 01092. This year's Pet Rock festival will be held on Sunday Sept. 10th at a bigger location: the Wyman-Gordon plant, 244 Worcester St, North Grafton, MA 01536 . The festival has a Music Stage, with bands on stage from noon - 5 pm; an animal action stage, an agility course (where you can try out your own pet), food, and a raffle.
