Sweetpea For Animals is always looking for good homes to adopt our special friends. We ask that people interested in adopting a Sweetpea pet call Dick Clark (contact details below) to set up an appointment to meet with the pet and to file an application. Our adoption fees are $225 for dogs and $110 for cats. All pets are up to date on shots unless they have only just arrived at our shelter. All fees go back into rescuing, boarding, spaying and neutering, and providing medical care for the many abandoned and lost animals that we deal with each year. Please remember that bringing a new pet into your home can be a big transition and must be thought out carefully. ALL animals require understanding and adjustment after a stay in rescue. Even a totally housetrained animal can have an occasional "accident" as they try to understand the rules of their new home and learn to communicate that they need to go out, in a different way from their previous home.
